Moving to take a position at AG Dentistry, Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez stayed in London for three years before relocating to Newcastle on Tyne to continue his studies at Newcastle University in Restorative Dentistry. While Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez does not have plans to move back to Spain anytime soon, he still makes frequent trips back to Madrid to visit people there. Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez  has traveled in many different ways back to the continent. Here, Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez discusses the best modes of travel between Great Britain and Spain.

·         Train: If you are going by train, you will be changing trains at least once as there is currently no direct rail line between England and Spain. Leaving London in the morning, you will have to change trains in Paris at lunchtime before going on to Spain. For Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez, if he wants to visit friends in Madrid, there is yet one more change in Barcelona. This is a full day's travel.

·         Car: You can drive to Spain, if you aren't in a hurry. This mode of travel will likely require you spending a night on the road along the way, says Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez, unless you are the type to enjoy 16.5 hours of driving straight. While long, Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez does say that the scenery is extraordinary in the South of France.

·         Plane: This is Dr. Ruben Calvo-Parra Martinez favorite option for speed and ease. There are many short, inexpensive flights between various English cities and Spain. However, you will be sacrificing the beautiful views of the French countryside that you get on a train or car trip.
